Ciao from your local goodie!
Late Night Wednesday! Join us on the patio for live music by Rob Russell & Friends. Every Wednesday night in July, we'll feature live music from 10 - 11 pm on the patio (weather permitting), and our bar will stay open until midnight. Our regular dinner menu will be available until 9 pm, and after dinner, we'll be serving our great pizzas.

Chill out with a little something cool and tasty from our new Summer Cocktail List. Try a Melon Martini, made with pureed fresh ripe cantaloupe, vodka and fresh mint, served straight up in a chilled glass. Or maybe Strawberry Lemonade sounds like the perfect cure for this crazy heat—a refreshing, iced beverage made with Stoli Strasberi® and our made-fresh-daily lemonade.

Right now, our Seasonal Fruit Crisp features the bright summery sweetness of peaches with blueberries.

Peregrine Farm Dinner!
Monday, July 26
5:30-9:00 pm
The Farm Dinner Series - A Panzanella Summer Tradition!

The Farm Dinners continue with Peregrine Farm on Monday, July 26th. Enjoy a summer evening of special dishes created with ingredients grown by our friends, Alex and Betsy Hitt. We can always count on Peregrine for a delicious and beautiful variety of tomatoes and peppers, and we'll just have to wait to see what else this little farm in Graham will have ready for the table.

August's Farm Dinner will feature the inspiring late summer harvest of Eco Farm. In September, we'll welcome the cooling evenings and Chapel Hill Creamery's wonderful products.

The Farm Dinners are very popular events, so for groups of six or more, we recommend that you call ahead to reserve a table: 919 929 6626.
$10 Wines
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you can add a weekend pleasure to a weekday meal at a great price. We're still offering our $10 bottles of wine at Lunch and Dinner every Tuesday and Thursday, as part of our year-long 10th Anniversary Celebration. The three excellent wines featured (a white, a rose, and a red) are favorites offered on our wine list every day, but on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they are available by the bottle only, and for only $10 a bottle.

Famega Vinho Verde - a slightly spritzy, crisp, young white from Portugal
Domaine luc Cabernet Sauvignon - a refreshing rosé from Languedoc in the south of France
Vallevò Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - a substantial and delicious red wine from Abruzzo, Italy
Delicious Local Tomatoes!
July's Ingredient of the Month: Local Tomatoes!
"...tomatoes so ripe they split and sweeten the air" - Dorothy Allison, author

Tomatoes—we love 'em. Our ingredient of the month for July at Panzanella is local tomatoes. They will be contributing their juicy lusciousness to Panzanella Salad, Caprese Salad, and other dishes that only reach their potential when summer creates vine-ripened magnificence.

Layers
Oil Paintings by Cat Moleski
Now - August 16, 2010

Capturing scenes of daily life, Cat Moleski's lush colors, and impressionistic style transform these moments into dream-like vignettes. Images both real and surreal take on new meaning as layer upon layer of paint and color coalesce, contrast, and enliven the scenes. Some figures are true to form, some are distorted but all are representative of the constant conflict between perception and reality.

Cat Moleski has been painting in oils for over twenty years. She received her BFA from Alfred University in upstate New York. She has spent two residencies at the Vermont Studio Center. You may view more of her work at her website.
